Hey Question Mark, Forget the Pistol idea .... Let's buy a Paintball Bazooka! That will keep people from hiding behind those Bunkers. It should keep people from hiding altogether! What do you say?

I've actually looked into these and the seem fairly easy to build. I even came across a site that gave directions and part lists. Most of them were a 1 time uses, then they would need to be recharged with an air compressor. However I have seen one that someone add a 9oz CO2 tank, a valve, and a gauge. That way you could just use the CO2 to recharge the gun to a certine pressure and shoot again.
I'll look to see if I can find that website with the free plans and try to post a link.

Check out www.pukindogspaintball.com/ under their "Tech Articles". They have a "Breach Loaded Cannon" and a "JR" version. They are REALLY COOL. BTW, this link is the root site for one of the "Cheap Stuff" links I posted. They have a lot of cool information on their site.

I'm all about trying to build one. I REALLY like the style of cannon at www.pukindogspaintball.com/cannons/BECC2.htm. We should see if anyone is willing to donate a couple of spare parts to the project (like a small tank, old regulator, trigger frame, lines/fittings, etc...). I know enough about electronics that I could wire up the power box and connect it to a trigger frame and valve.

What kind of tank does it need because i have 4 tanks that I don't really need that many.

I think the website said that the one in the pic was a 7oz tank...The cannon is designed to run at about 100-150psi so any size would work, that is also why we need a regulator.

I know of one site that has VERY good directions to make a couple of simple cannons, but they are ones that requires to be filled by an air compressor. I would rather build one that would work on CO2, either a tank or even 12g. Here is the site I was talking about. blake.prohosting.com/~edge1/new_aircannon.htmlBe carefull, that site has a few pop-ups.
