Today was a pretty good day. It was humid though so masks were fogging a lot. Speedball went pretty well. The small amount of woods I played was fine too. One complaint is that it seemed to take a long time to get city assualt started up the first time.

how many people actually showed up? i didnt even bother to wake up due to the crazy rain last night, i just figured we wouldnt be playing today. next time we play we should either have another meeting in the morning or just go over it during the break, because i doubt that many people came out today

I hope that wasn't aimed at me. I log in daily, sometimes twice.
Also - 24 Hour Scenerio Meeting was held... I have no details - do you? This what gripes me. There is a serious, serious lack of info sharing. I'm sorry I couldn't make the meeting, I had a prior engagement. I have asked for admin and/or mods to post a thread about game info. Scenario type,schedule,rules,etc... Sorry if I've been bugging you Dave. I'll try not to do that anymore.

Hey Todd,
You are not a bother - ever. I am just really busy at work these days ....
I don't know about the Forum website (loging on & replying stuff) , but I did hear more comments on Saturday of others having problems. I suggested they talk to "Todd P"
As for the 24th, am sure details will be given out soon. I don't have any. What Specifics are you looking for?
Dates: Times: What to bring? Schedule?
I know if you pre register, then you can request a team to be on. If you show up as a walk in, then you will be assigned to a team. That's about what I know ... Sorry

Well the date and time is set. But the schedule for eating breaks, game breaks, recrono breaks for day and night play, time night play will end, resume play will begin next day at what time. Theses are questions that alot of us have. As far as what t obring, the group I play with have done 26 haour games before, and if anyone wants some suggestions, I'll make a post of suggested equipment, gear, personal items, just to give others ideas on what they MIGHT need. Also, a list of allowed and restricted equipment should be added for normal and this paticular game. This allows us to plan and aqurie these items in timely matter. Schedule as I stated above, as far as game details of what misiions, well we expect to get them day of so we don't have an extended time to plan for. But what the scenario will be based on would help for role players, costumes(yeah ,some of us really get into this stuff) This is a small list, got more, whoever wants to e-mail me, badkarmaone@yahoo.com, I'll be more then happy to help what I can. Dandan, you coming to this? He has played scenario games as well, wealth of knowledge there we can use. See ya.

Cool Todd. Could we get a sticky or different list for the 24 hour game? Info for some of the things I have mentioned, and any questions about the game could be addressed there. This web page and email/messenger with a couple members is how some of us long distance drivers get the info. Thanks guy.

I went to the meeting so i have the details Tim told us about the 24 hour scenario.
It will start on the 23rd at 5 pm. We'll have sign in until 6. Break into teams after sign in, and the first match starts at 7 pm. That game will include everyone. The following games will be for a limited number of people. An example Tim gave about respawning was that if someone was "killed," then your general will send a new person in as re-inforcements. If there is no one that wants to replace you, then you can go back in. There will be about 15 minutes between games. We play until 11:30 pm, then we have a break until 4 am. There will be a few games without guns from 4 am to 6 am. (There might be one or two before that around 11 pm, but i can't remember when Tim said the cut off time for play with guns was.) We resume play with guns around 6 am saturday morning. Tim doesn't have saturday completely planned yet, but I do know that the last game will include everyone, and end at 5 pm saturday.
Inorder for your team to win, it must have the most points at the end of the game. To get points, one's team must accomplish the objective of the mission. You get points for the number of players left a live at the end of the game, but the objectives give far more. There will also be containers in the field that have envelopes in them, don't open the envelopes. Take them back to Tim, and he'll open them and give you whatever rewards it has on it. Some are "mined," which makes you sit out the next game. Thats why Tim has to open them, so the mined ones don't get thrown out.
You can use your earned points to enlist a mercenary(s) in an auction. The more you spend on your mercenary, the more loyal he/she will be. Your points also counts as money, but using your points does not subtract from your total points in the end to win.

Yeah Todd we already have a seperate area for the 24 hour scenario so there is nothing for me to do, unless you were meaning something else and my small mind capacity was unable to take it in.

We do? I thought the only thing we had was a sign up in calander, and a discussion in game ideas. I was talking about a thread for info for times, date, chrony issues, scenario type,...general info that could be shared to the masses. Info that could be released ahead of time that would help some of us part-timers for pre-planning.

Oh... well I think that is getting out of my league, so I will contact Tim to get his attention to the issue at hand.
