What Modifications have you made to your Custom 98 ?
The choices are:

Iv'e only done the ones in Yellow so far

I will buy 1/4" Shrink Tubing this week (for the Response Tube set up) I think it comes in 6 6"pieces .35 for a 6 inch piece (no, I won't sell any shorter - I don't want a bunch of little pieces (smaller than 6") laying around my tool box!)

Or Dremel Tool (any elecriticy out there?) I hear Steel Wool is best - Stick with your Muscles Put them with your brains so you won't forget to bring them!

Yes, Don't get the kind with soap in it. Just the steel wool.
Steel wool can be bought at any hardware store

The mod that reduces the ping in the gun fire. I believe it was some sort of plastic tube that covers the spring pull.

Hey gargoyle have you tried out the spring mod for the 98 yet. is it all its cracked up to be. I wont be able to try it for a while yet.

Actually I haven't. I got home Saturday and couldn't open my gun because someone borrowed our allen wrench. I will pick up another and try it tonight or tomorrow. I don't think it should be heat shrinked, so it can be done at the field before , and inbetween games.
Also, you got the 1/4" tube, it is for the response trigger spring, but I guess it will still work (or you can heat shrink it a little).
