Can Someone make Field Maps of the Current Three Fields? I know there is a lot of Artistic Talent among you.

I know a couple of people that are pilots...I may be able to get one of them to take a picture of the entire area from the sky and then we could just mark the picture with paths and flag points. I'll ask around and see if I can find someone to do this.

Well, I have not been able to get a hold of anyone to take a picture for us, but I did find another solution. I found this Aerial Photo on terraserver.homeadvisor.msn.comReall cool site, you can get an Aerial pic of your house too. Just put in the address. Maybe we can use this as the start of the field map.

We should give out a high quality print out of the area map to all the new player who come to the PBJ field, so no one will get lost.

Yes! And blow it up for clear determination of where the boundry lines are for each field are. Possibly add the images of Fort, Bunker & Spools
Make sure you include the Hot Tub!

If I did do that everything won't be precise but I could try to make it close enough to determine where you are at.

That would work! Blow up a poster sized one and hang it up inside the shelter. Laminate it and store it in the shed (barn - watever). Then Mr Newman could say "Here is the Flag and here is where you have to take it to" or whatever. He could utilize them when he explains the games at the briefings. Maybe each team could have 1 or 2 maps for the day.

i also think that with the winter coming and our trampling of the field we should put up more man-made obstacles on the woodsball courses and also define the field lines out to match whatever we put on the map
