Game time: 9:30 for Safety and Mission Breifing
Gamestart: 10:00 am
Number of Players: about 60.
Land Played on: Rugged 21 acres with creek running though it.
Temp: 52 degrees or arround.
On this chilly morning myself, callsign(Harbinger) my nephew(Feral) and my brother(Splicer) set forth for the battle of Little Splinter Creek. A paintballer by the name of Fred Heston had orgized an afternoon scenario for anyone who showed up. Air wsa supplied at 4 dollars a tank and the paint though wasnt the best was reasonable or you could bring your own. I ended up using my case of scorch and buying two 500 big balls cartoons. When we go there alot of cars were already there. so we parked and geared up. I had to bum a battery off another player casue my radio was dead. After the safety meeting we got seperated and fortuanlty we were on the same team. (The black/white marble method was used).
Mission Statement: Red team was sent of on a hay wrack to their base. Our mission was to secure as much land and take as many bad guys out while achieving missions. The creak was the main security line and its bridges. Our team hiked a bit (You could tell the smokers) til we got to our base. Behind the base was a chronny station where we cued in at. This was also Our entry point if we were taken out. Once chronied we waited for the assault horn to move out. Our leader sent Me, Feral, and Splicer with the main security team to take over the center brindge and advance. We heard the horn and bolted forefward. As we approaced the center bridge it was quiet (almost to quiet). I took point and checked the bridge for explosives which there were none. Then waved the rest of the team into defense positions. As we advanced over the bridge into enemy territory we heard fire from our left side. We heard out and watched as one of our men walked off the field. The stacoto firing of an automatic gun broke the silence again and Two more of our team was out. I called Feral and told him to secure point while I pivoted o the left to see the danger. Then I saw the WOOKIE. this guy was good. If it wasnt for the small bit of light I got from his visor I would taken a hit. I called Splicer to organize a distraction so I could creep up on this guy. When I heard the marker fire and saw the mask visor look in the direction fo the fire I slid into firing position and prepared to fire. I gently pulled the trigger and sent one shot just in from of the guy. Feral and a few other opened up behind me which startled him but he wasnt moving. I opened up and finally got the hit on him. I heard the call in a high voice "Out!" and called for cease fire. The sniper got up and her guilly top opened to reveal a ponytail. Her mask coved in PAINT SHE WALKED OFF THE field. Our team reorganized after the assault and I and Feral with two others stayed behind to prive securty on the bridge. Splicer my brother advanced with the remaining squad into enemy territory. But that is a story for another day.
