When Noah and his descendents are said to have lived to be anywhere from 200 to 950 years old, are they talking about the same time frame of a year as we do today? I also would like to know where you think dinosaurs fall in the time line of creation. I have my opinion but would like to hear yours.

I would suggest any of Ken Ham's books on creation vs. evolution. He talks about how a day in old biblical times has to be the same as a day in our time. For instance, the bible says that Adam was created on day six and died when he was 930 years old. If each day were a million years, we'd have serious problems. As for dinosaurs, I agree with Ken's statement that dinosaurs and man lived at the same time, not millions of years apart as we are commonly taught. I also believe that dinosaurs may have been on Noah's ark, which at first, sounds ridiculous- but why? In that day, these would have just been another reptile, and the ones on the ark certainly would not have had to be huge, deadly beasts- we know that dinosaurs were quite small when they were born. Noah could have had young ones and they would have been nowhere near as dangerous as, say, an elephant or hippo. When you think about it, belief in creation takes nowhere near as much faith as belief that everything came from a huge, random explosion!

well, they would been made the same day as any other land animal, and there would not of been any death until the sin of adam. So if you belive in the million year theory then you are saying there was death before adams sin and that is not what the bilbe says - there was no death before the sin of man. so the dinosaurs could not of been around before man but during man. it was not until the ark fell upon dry ground did anamials fear man before that everything was a vegetarin . after the ark man and amamilas ate meat. well if the bible says 900 years then it was 900 years not only does faith fall in to it but it sets up the time frame to the birth of Jesus that is why they go thru the years . If you study the years were in around 4000 in the Jewish year I might be off a few years but its close and you can add up the time ine of the bible and you find out it really close to that - Rob aks robster i 4 got to log in
