Malachi 3:10
"Bring yee all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now, here with saith the Lord of host, if I will not open you the windows of heaven and you pour out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

So by that, we should give to God and expect that He will in turn give back to us?
I notice two things ... first is that it's conditional. "bring yee all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in mine house" that is, your motivation has to be to please God and bring 'meat in his house'. Can't just give so that you'll get. second, if the first is accomplished it seems that God is saying that he'll give you the Divine HookupTM.

By your tone and apparent attitude, I assume you mean to joust on this subject. I on the other hand merley answered the questions posed. I am not going to argue or debate on this issue on this forum , since it is the Religious section. I feel the Church section needs to be more respectful than the rest of the forums – but that’s just me. So sorry if you’re looking for a rebuttal other than this one ….

sorry, i confuse even myself sometimes! I wasn't trying to disagree with you ... that bit of malachi is where I personally get the 'if i'm faithful with the small, He's faithful with the much' idea.
