I say Bush because one I don't like Kerry. He's a punk and a liar. Bush mainly believes in everything that I believe in like gay marriage and other issues. Also I think it was right to go into Iraq and fight against Saddam like he has done. Kerry flip flops on to many issues. Like last night he said how soldiers were dieing because they didn't have adequate equipment and then he said later that he wouldn't want to give more money to the Iraqi campaign. LIAR and a WAFFLER!

I AM FOR BUSH
FIRST OFF HE IS A CHRISTIAN WITH CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP. KERRY BELIEVES IN ABORTION. YES WE SHOULD BE IN THE MIDDLE EAST. KERRY SAID THAT WE SHOULD ONLY GO TO WAR AS A LAST OPTION. WHAT OTHER OPTIONS ARE THERE. THEY WONT STOP IF WE ASK THEM NICELY. PLEASE STOP PRETTY PLEASE.
BELOW IS A CLIP FROM KERRY'S WEBSITE. MY THOUGHTS ARE IN CAPS AND SIGNIFIED WITH (-)
Launch And Lead A New Era Of Alliances The threat of terrorism demands alliances on a global scale - to utilize every available resource to get the terrorists before they can strike at us. As president, John Kerry will lead a coalition of the able - because no force on earth is more able than the United States and its allies.
- BEFORE THEY STRIKE AT US??? WERE YOU ASLEEP ON 9-11, WAKE UP. -KERRY WILL LEAD THIS TEAM, THIS COALITION OF THE ABLE. ISNT THIS TEAM THE MILITARY, THE SAME TEAM THAT BUSH USES?
Modernize The World's Most Powerful Military To Meet New Threats John Kerry and John Edwards have a plan to transform the world's most powerful military to better address the modern threats of terrorism and proliferation, while ensuring that we have enough properly trained and equipped troops to meet our enduring strategic and regional missions.
-I THOUGHT HE DIDNT WANT MORE TROUPS OVER THERE. THIS SURE SOUND LIKE HE DOES.
Deploy All That Is In America's Arsenal The war on terror cannot be won by military might alone. As president, John Kerry will deploy all the forces in America's arsenal - our diplomacy, our intelligence system, our economic power, and the appeal of our values and ideas - to make America more secure and prevent a new generation of terrorists from emerging.
-WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DEPLOY THAT BUSH HASNT ALREADY? -OH I SEE YOU ARE GOING TO FIGHT THE TERRORISTS WITH THE APPEAL OF OUR VALUES -AAAHHHHH RUN THEY HAVE VALUES AND IT APPEALS TO US. WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO. WE ARE AT YOUR MERCY KERRY.
Free America From Its Dangerous Dependence On Mideast Oil To secure our full independence and freedom, we must free America from its dangerous dependence on Mideast oil. By tapping American ingenuity, we can achieve that goal while growing our economy and protecting our environment
-IF YOU DONT GET THE OIL FROM THE MID EAST THEN WHERE. -TAPPING THE INGENUITY OF AMERICA? I GUESS HE IS TALKING ABOUT OTHER RESOUCES AVAILIBLE TO US LIKE ELECTRIC CARS. THEY ARE TO EXPENSIVE, NOT EFFICIANT, AND NOT PRACTICAL AT THIS TIME. YES KEEP WORKING ON IT BUT IT IS A LONG WAY OFF. I CANT COUNT THE NUMBER OF ELECTRIC CARS ON THE ROAD TODAY.
-MY VOTE IS FOR BUSH

Politics? Wow!, What a dangerous subject among friends .... Okay, I'll bite.
I will vote for President Bush, because he has four years experience running the world (doesn't the US run the World?) and will keep moving forward with his plans. Though some of his plans suck like Health Care and whatever, we pretty know now what he will do and what he stands for.
If Senator Kerry is elected, the US will start almost all over with everything, Foriegn Policy, Health Care, Economics, and so on. He will have to get new people in and make all new plans (good & bad) and that will set us back at least 6 months. We don't know what kind of a leader he will be, he just might complain and call other countries names like he does in his campaign. I don't really know. But I do know that he will start over and it may cost us toooo much in the long run.
Kerry will raise gas prices (to clean up the enviroment) and bring back the Draft (you 16 year olds will have to move to Canada).
Bush will produce Osama Bin Laden one week before the election. Then there will a landslide.

my vote goes to McGruff, the crime dog. Most political leaders can, at best, *talk* about issues -- some take action -- but McGruff goes way beyond either: he literally takes a bite out of a non-tangible entity -- crime! With his track record of over--huh? what's that? McGruff isn't real?
ah ...
in that case, Bush gets my vote. he resembles McGruff more than anyone else in both looks and ideology.

talking about religion/politics (or philosophy ... i mean it all boils down to philosophy at some level) with your friends tends to bring a deeper friendship in my experience. Controversy is good! At the end, even if you still disagree with one another, you still know where the other one is comming from and you tend to have more respect for them (as they do for you).

See look at Todd, now if i was like him i would take some offense at his "joking around/inability to accept other views" and things would progress into more and more resentment of each other, so thats y i will listen to what you have to say but i think i will keep my ideas to myself respectfully

That way when someone disagrees with you they can object to this idea you have built out of logic and reason, and not something you would take as a personal insult. Having said that, Todd, brotha, don't insult him in a politics thread, even joking like that. He's right that even if you aren't serious, it can definitally be *taken* as being offensive regardless.
