what i dont get is that some adults shun people even their own family just becasue they have a diffrent opion on things it is really sad and sometimes people dont give their opinion in fear of being shunned be people. its like if anyone isnt the exact same as them they dislike them although is not true for all it is for some but also not only adults do the shunning but kids as well only not about politics lol we all need to respect others opinion whether they r diffrent or not. Jesus loved all people good or bad and he spent all of his time with people who either hated him or disagreed with him but he still loved them well all need to b like that and love everyone even those with diffrent opionions

Personally I am for Bush for foreign policy but for the Democratic party (Not Kerry) on social policies. Bush is good at being strong against hazards but tends to damage America with his lack of social programs and leaves the middle class who has to foot the bill of not only the poor but the rich as well. But I would rather have Bush as president than Kerry. Kerry doesnt know what he is saying.

That sucks Kerry didnt get elected. I dont really like ether of them but Id rather have Kerry then Bush. First of all I dont like Bush mainly because he sent troops to Iraq when they need to be where the real threat is in Korea, where they have actually came out and said they have weapons of mass destruction. Hes just sending in soldiers to fight for oil. Second, all I have to say is the economy is bad. There are things I dont like about kerry but more about Bush.

What are you saying? If Kerry were elected, then you would be packing your bags for Boot Camp. You are not immune to the Kerry Draft that he mentioned throughout his Campagin.
Remember the debates?

Well here goes. If the truth must be known on opinions then here is mine. I remember the "Clinton years" when the bombing in Africa killed many at American embassies. And nothing was done. When the big “black hawk down” happened that you talk so much about in Somalia it was Clinton whom pulled the USMC out (they were set up for battle) and left the Special forces in (Rangers and delta) They are not made to be peace corps (pass out food) I blame Clinton for the deaths of those soldiers. Then Colbart towers were bombed in Kuwait then the USS Cole was blown up and don’t forget the 1st bombing of the towers All under Clinton. He launched one maybe two cruse missile attack. Guess what we have been fighting the same people ever since Clinton was in office, and if some one would believe that John Kerry would do any better then I’m sorry. I spent 12 years in the U.S Army I was in 5 years before Desert Shield/ Storm started. I went with the 1st Infantry Division. I have seen the cost of war how the Iraqi army treated the people of Kuwait. The real threat to this country is the media, The North Korea leader is crazy but he is not stupid. We have more firepower in Korea than you know about. The boarder is mined, sensors, heat, motion, under 24 hour guard. I have many a friend whom has walked the post serving my Country. I would not trust Kerry to lead me anywhere but to a grave. I have never seen a Married millionaire man like Kerry make so many people think he cares about the working class. As far as “what sucks” Is serving in the Military and working hard for less than what a kid at Wal-Mart makes. Just Remember Freedom is never free. And oil was never on the agenda, France and Germany had the corner on that in Iraqi. I am not directing these comments at any one person. It just came out why I would not vote for Kerry and Oh Just ask me my opinion on the Draft -Rob ( is a graduate of anger management class) Marge shott my mentor ....lol

I didn't notice this thread before, and i love politics so I think I'll vent a little here.
Bush all the way. Social programs nothing. National Healthcare proposed by Kerry would have bankrupted us and destroyed our economy. The leading officails in Canada agree that their healthcare system will fail and they will have to switch to a private one like the US has. Same thing with Europe. Canada's system is the best national healthcare system around, and even then it takes a week or more to get into the ER. By that time its usually too late.
Private accounts work! Look at the social security programs that are effective in Europe, they all have private accounts. The European programs have been in use for 20 years, and they are still going strong. The major countries in South America have been using private accounts for years. Bush's plan is just to give you a choice, the current system, or a private system. You could choose one or the other, and could even change your mind later if you wanted too. The whole point is choice.
Tort reform is a huge issue that is against Kerry. John Edwards made is millions from court cases using "junk science," which is science that has been proven faulty or wrong but is still allowed in court because it made precidence in a previous trial. Because of such lawyers as Edwards, it costs doctors $100,000+ a year to pay for insurance. There is a literal shortage of ob/gyns throughout the country. This makes it even harder for people who have difficult pregnancies.
Another social policy is No Child Left Behind. Its been three or four years now since it started, and test scores are going up in minorities. Could this just be a coincidence, possibly. Only time will tell. I know a movement is starting in the academic community to push the idea of imparting knowledge on students instead of the student figuring it out on his own. In the past 20 years, the idea of having students figure out on their own has been pushed, and US test scores have lagged behind most of the world. I've experienced this new education policy when it was just starting, and i did horribly. I found i learned more when i had older teachers that instructed and we more into the active learning experience. Newer teachers tend to give examples, then have a hands off approach. It wasn't until i read an article that described the difference in teaching practices, and related it to a drop in national test scores. Bush's No Child Left Behind forces teachers to go back to the old hands on approach of teaching.
On the foriegn side of things, Iraq wasn't a top of the list target, but it was strategic. Iraq definitly had WMDs, just ask the Iranians or the Kurds... What I found funny was that in the two months we gave Saddam to surrender, a convoy of trucks was spotted going into Syria. Not only that, but a captured terrorist in Jordan admitted Iraq's WMDs were in Syria. That and the fact that all the suspected Bio labs were empty and had just been completely sanitized by the time our troops got there. Now the reason Iraq was a strategic target is because it borders Syria and Iran. These are the top two terrorist nations in the world. They are trying to kill us. They are training terrorists to infiltrate the US and harm us from the inside as in London. They want to destroy all that is Western culture. They didn't care that when the bombs went off in London that they were in and/or near the largest Muslim community in Britain.
Sure North Korea has Nukes, but its leader is the kind of guy that will atleast try to negotiate. Kim isn't gonna just fire a missile at us because he wants too. He's going to try to get as much out of the situation as he can. He embraces Western culture, and just wants to be one of the big league leaders in the world.
I want to be a politician when i get older. I look into the facts and absorb all the information i can. I go by with the party that uses the most facts, and thats the Republicans. Democrats use emotion to influence voters, but if you look into the proposed programs, you find that they will fail. Democrats usually push social programs that have been used in other countries, and have fail miserably.
