I have read and heard that one of the first upgrades you should do for your marker is the Barrel upgrade. Stock barrels tend to be too basic, but it helps keep the initial cost of the gun down. So I went out and bought a 14" Dye Boomstick. What a huge difference in accuracy and range.
My next suggestion is to change your Hopper to help out with efficiency and balls per second. I bought the Ricochet 2K. It solved my problem of having to shake my gun once in awhile too.
The other upgrade to consider is converting to HPA or Compressed Air. I have a 47ci/3000 Crossfire (Aluminum). This has helped me in consistent shooting and I don't experience the spikes CO2 causes with the fluctuation of temperature.
I made other up grades as most of you know, but these were the 3 best ones that I did myself. Now I have changed to a Pro-Team 14" Barrel, Double Trigger, Response Trigger, Expansion Chamber, Car Stock, Carry Handle, Sling, and the list goes on... But most of you only really need the 3 basic one I mentioned.
Just my opinion

Well if your going to use compressed air, then the expansion chamber becomes useless. You should buy a inline regulator instead.
