Todd
I will take my tippman over whatever gun youve got any day. we should do a little one on one. I would even put in the stock barrel for you so I wouldnt totally dominate you.

One is the Lonelyest Number You Could Ever Do ... Maybe they are Scared of Tippmanns..
Hey, When the going gets tough .. Everybody Leaves!
Take a look on Saturday, There are probably more Tippmanns (any kind) than all of the other guns combined on the fields. Maybe they know something you don't ..

also some people are on a smaller budget so again look and see how many people have the tippmans upgraded. I think there is only one person who hasn't done anything to their tippman. they cost too much money

My Tippmann put me back $123.00 It took awhile to get it to where it is now... I'll grant you that!
But, how much did you pay for your Spitter? Maybe after I bought my barrel upgrade, we were the same?

I loves my gun... loves my gun But i do admitt that if you want to play pro-ball speedball you have to get a 9-20... thousand ball per second gun Thats just a shame laddie, just a shame

I have a Pirahna thank you very much and since I bought almost new from a friend I got it for 60 bucks. But new it would have been 180 bucks.

alright fellas, lets stop biting eat others necks. im gonna warn you that this post is going to be so contradicting it will be unbelievable. first of all, you get what you pay for. tippmann has to be one of the most overproduced gun i have ever seen. now, if you want durablility, take care of your gun. do you really plan on throwing your gun across the field or running it over with a car? probably not. im an autococker owner. i love my cocker. i dont hate tippmanns. tippmann only produces what, 3 models? but if you looka t spyder...so do they. they jus hav a billion different guns of the same model, just different annodizing and different accessories. the differnt spyders are the spyder compact, which is close enough to be the most basic spyder you can buy, and then u have the EM-1, and then u have the AMG. the amg,em1, and compact have very little in common. the pro-carbine, 98 custom, and a5 have very little in common.
im going to bash on tippmann for a while because i feel the need. the procarbine looks like a shotgun, the 98 custom looks like a Thompson, and the A-5 looks like an MP-5. now the reason i pointed out spyder in the recent paragraph was because thats usually what the bickering is about "my spyder is better than ur tippmann" but take a look at the 98 custom. and take a look at the TL+. they are around the same price. the tippmann has side cocking, single trigger, you need to buy a 20$ part to put on a regulator or exp chamber, it takes 30 minutes to field strip, the milling design on the marker isnt consistant, the paint chips easily, and the velocity adjuster, wtf lol. th tl+ has all of those featurews for the same price. now you say if you trick out your tippman, its good. well, why dont ujust buy a spyder? it has all the parts, and u can convert spyder to low pressure without spending a billion dollars on parts for the tippy. the only 2 things i like about the 98c are the RT and the removeable elbow. and i like the cyclone feed ont he a5. but still, spyders are more upgradable.
now if you own a tippmann, right about now if not sooner would be the time your starting to get mad. tippmanns are good starter guns. have u seen Pauls tippy? that thing rips! and about the maintainence, my cocker never failed me. i get double the amount of shots per tank just because i adjusted pressure. and if my cocker has a problem, i fix it. its nto a big problem. try to think of a big problem a cocker would have. a leak? easy fix,all u need is teflon tape. i noticed im off topic massively. i will be at the church this weekend, im the fat guy with the sexy red and chrome autococker. talk to me and ill let you shoot it a little.
so if your still wondering if tippmann is better than spyder.............forget it, buy a cocker ;D

You just messed it all up . Cockers cost like three to 10 times more than tippmans and spyders. also autocockers (which should be called manual cockers) for I know are always falling apart. One instance of this was when Scott was playing speedball and his gun just popped apart, it didn't get shot it just burst open. Now come on spyders and tippmans don't do that. I will leave other things to say for other people if they like.

yeah cause scott doesnt know what hes doing :-) jk. an autococker is like a girl, you have to treat it with respect, take care of it, buy it new things every once in a while, talk nice to it. if you treat it good, it will treat u good. i could put a bunch of other funny stuff too but i have the fear of being banned, since this is a church-based forum, so ill keep it clean.

Thanks for keeping it clean. and now everyone is after you instead of each other. I have noticed a lot of problems with people who use the autococker not just scott. He needs to be on here to defend himself.
Yes it does take a while to field strip a tippman, But have you known anyone who had to. not to my knowledge. I have noticed some paint chipedge. and just for the added tiddbitt my tippy was $130.00 that included the tank, mask, hopper, everything to get me going. I will never worry about tournament play so the whole balls per second means nothing to me. I will add that in our weekly paintballing the people who shoot 2000 rounds in a game or two usually have as many kills as I do or less. The most I have used in a game is 1 hopper full.
