All depends on what level you are at. Tippmanns are great when starting out and the occasional recreational player. I personally didn't start with one, but know many people who have. Most of them moved into higher levels of paintball like speedball and hyperball, and around that point they realized they needed a marker with a little more speed to it. Tippmann Effect shoots all Tippmann markers in the Amature division and I watched them win the IAO last year and place very highly this year. I personally shoot all AKALMP markers because I feel that the speed and reliability of their electro markers are matched by none. Its all preference and the level of play that you compete on.

my em-1 cant go wrong with 20 bps. yeah right lol that gun is the biggest gas hog, and it needs nitro. if my other nitro tank didnt leak lose all my air, iwould play with it. grr.
